Last week the National Bank celebrated its longest running doubles match with the Rogers Cup as their 10th year as title sponsor. This matchup has been one made in tennis heaven as they served up not only an entertaining and beautifully staged event, but also an abundance of goodwill with their “On the Ball” program. The collaboration has been ingenious by re-using old tennis balls that have lost their bounce and placing them on the bottom of classroom chairs across Ontario and Quebec. This initiative helps to reduce noise levels in classrooms – allowing students a quiet and focused learning environment.
Faulhaber and National Bank sent out some of Toronto’s most notable social stars to the tournament for a full game, set, match experience. From seeing the Players Lounge, experiencing racquet restringing to walking out on centre court, this experience was nothing short of unique. Check out some of the highlights and tennis-forward fashion moments from the tournament.
