Director, Digital & Social Media

We are hiring a Director, Digital & Social Media to join our team. Candidates must possess an entrepreneurial-spirit, have a proven track record leading digital and social teams to deliver innovative and ROI-focused campaigns and be a passionate early adopter of digital trends. We are looking for a minimum of 8+ years of relevant work experience.

The Director, Digital & Social Media is a member of the agency’s management team. Preference will be given to candidates with agency experience.

Key Role Outcomes:

  • Meet or exceed digital sales targets through client retention, growth strategies and new business development
  • Lead a high-performing team to execute outstanding digital and social media campaigns that deliver on client and agency KPIs
  • Lead agency’s internal digital marketing across FAULHABER’s owned channels
  • Drive a collaborative culture across PR and digital service offerings to generate a seamless cross-functional service


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, journalism, digital marketing, or related field
  • 8+ years of professional experience in digital and/or social media marketing; preference for candidates with experience in an agency environment
  • Proven leadership managing a team to deliver outstanding digital marketing campaigns • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, deliverables and client relationships simultaneously
  • Outstanding client service capabilities
  • Expert understanding of strategy and execution across digital and social media platforms
  • Expert at digital and social media reporting metrics and analytics
  • Expert at WordPress, Google Analytics and Facebook Business Manager
  • Knowledge of email marketing, digital advertising, content production and SEO/SEM



  • Lead digital services for the agency including implementing new strategies, growing digital services and clients and training existing and new team members
  • Manage team to deliver best in class digital and social strategies for digital clients and internal FAULHABER channels
  • Develop best practices that allow digital to integrate seamlessly with account and senior management teams and agency work
  • Train and teach the entire team about new and innovative digital strategies and trends by providing weekly digital insights sessions
  • Oversee and manage all FAULHABER digital marketing for FAULHABER including website, social media, the FAULHABER blog, etc.
    Generate and present digital marketing reports and analyses for feedback
    Stay ahead of the curve with the latest consumer and marketing trends and advancements in technology
    Oversee FSTOP Studios content production division

Client Management:

  • Oversee and manage all digital services across FAULHABER clients including social media management, newsletter, content production • Oversee and manage social media communities for clients including organic and paid strategies
  • Develop and implement paid social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, website traffic and sales
  • Foster strong relationships with new and existing clients 
  • Ensure all digital activities are integrated with an overall communication strategy to ensure seamless client service and omnichannel marketing 
  • Oversee and manage digital budgets for clients with clear ROI 
  • Oversee and deliver content marketing for clients, including content production through FSTOP Studios
  • Oversee digital reporting for all assigned clients 

New Business Development:

  • Grow digital services for the agency through new business development and existing clients
  • Support new business teams with strategic advice on program structures and proposals
  • Identify and develop additional sales and marketing tools/materials as required • Develop comprehensive competitor audits to identify proactive client and new business opportunities
  • Produce social media and digital audits so help engage new business
  • Actively seek out networking opportunities to help grow the agency reach
  • Identify speaking engagements and additional opportunities to profile the agency’s digital expertise
  • Support new business development through FAULHABER digital marketing
