Community Manager

We are hiring a Community Manager (full-time) to join our team. Candidates must live and breathe all things social media, be on the pulse of digital innovations and possess strong copywriting skills with immaculate attention to detail. We are looking for a minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience.

The role will be focused on ideation and execution of paid and organic: social media, digital marketing, content creation and strategies. We are looking for someone to deliver creative and innovative ideas to produce results-oriented integrated campaigns leveraging digital thinking, influencer relations and content marketing that contributes to client and agency KPIs. Preference will be given to candidates that have integrated communications experience.

Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Digital Marketing, Communications, Marketing or a relevant field of study
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Superior grammar and punctuation
  • Strong communication, presentation and project management skills
  • Experience managing digital marketing campaigns, including but not limited to email marketing (Mailchimp, Flodesk, Klayvio), SEM (Google Ads), website management (WordPress, Shopify), SEO and SMS marketing
  • Strong social media marketing experience, including ideation and execution of paid and organic campaigns (Facebook Ads Manager), social account management, content calendar creation, scheduling posts, copywriting, community management and growth strategy (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter)
  • Ability to develop and execute paid social media advertising – Instagram and Facebook; LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube
  • Strong content creation & design abilities (Adobe Suite, Canva)
  • Experience using a variety of scheduling platforms (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Later, Buffer)
  • Comfortable adapting with new platforms and technology
  • Experience executing influencer campaigns, managing content shoots and photography and videography are an asset

Main responsibilities:

  • Report to Director, Digital & Social Media; assigned work across agency
  • Act as Community Manager and digital specialist across clients, managing all deliverables, client calls and communications in accordance with agency processes
  • Manage social media channels across assigned clients and FAULHABER channels, leveraging insights and analytics
  • Strategize and execute organic and paid social media content, digital marketing campaigns and initiatives, reviewing with Director, Digital & Social Media, prior to launch (integrating with other teams, as required)
  • Establish unique content strategies for assigned clients, including editorial style guides, content themes, brand voice, cadence and formats
  • Establish processes and standards for content planning, approvals and execution
  • Manage community engagement, monitor and utilize UGC and support growth across assigned clients and FAULHABER channels
  • Develop and edit content calendars, manage approvals, scheduling, launching and reporting of content calendars
  • Create graphic and written content for posting across assigned clients and FAULHABER channels
  • Execute influencer campaigns for assigned clients, reviewing with Director, Digital & Social Media, prior to launch (integrating with other teams, as required)
  • Monitor and implement the latest trends in social media across assigned clients and FAULHABER channels. This includes advertising formats, channels and technologies to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients and FAULHABER can best leverage new tools and services
  • Responsible for regular blog posting, including thought-leadership for executive team
  • Photography and video production for social media channels including but not limited to client events; team photoshoots; and internal office/client photography
  • Contribute to sales and marketing materials included but not limited to credential decks, new business pitches, graphics and logos
  • Manage FSTOP Content Studios producers and content creators
  • Execute client reporting and additional administrative tasks or responsibilities as required
  • Responsible for delivering against (and reporting on) a set of digital KPIs, including driving audience growth and engagement

Job Type: Full-time; hybrid working environment
Location: Toronto
Compensation: $48,000 – $55,000; part of bonus pool, 2 weeks vacation + FAULHABER days; summer and winter hours; comprehensive benefits package
