#FEvents: The Third Annual National Bank Night Out

National Bank sure knows how to thank their clients! On December 2nd, the #FSQUAD attended the third annual National Bank Night Out which took place at the Design Exchange. In true National Bank fashion, it was a night of opulence, complete with world class food, cocktails and entertainment. The spectacle has become the company’s signature way of celebrating patronage and showing appreciation to their guests for another year of continued support.

National Bank has been a longtime enthusiast of Canadian design and is currently the owner of one of the largest corporate art collections in the country (they give the Louvre a run for their money!), which made Design Exchange a natural choice of venue. The building, which is home to a wide array of design pieces and artwork from around the world, was filled to the brim with red roses and hints of gold which left us even more awestruck than normal. Guests got the full VIP treatment as they dined on a drool-worthy three-course dinner and listened to JUNO-nominated jazz singers Matt Dusk and Florence K performing exclusive tracks off their upcoming albums.

Midway through the evening, National Bank took a moment to speak to a topic very close to the company’s heart. The One for Youth Project celebrated another year of achievement since its establishment three years ago, having touched the lives of 279 Canadian organizations and 76,000 young adults. Hatem Zarrouk, National Bank’s Regional Vice President of Central Canada, announced that the bank would be investing an additional $1 million budget for 2016 in order to support entrepreneurial spirit and success of the country’s youth. What a way to show the spirit of giving during the holidays!

With gift bags in tow, guests left the evening thrilled about having been a part of such a spectacular event. We’re counting down the days until we get our 2016 National Bank Night Out invites in the mail!
